Ron E. Scott is driven by a passion for creating. Under the banner of Prairie Dog Film + Television, he has written, produced and directed several diverse film and television productions, as well as live arena events and awards shows over the last fifteen years. His television programs have aired on ACCESS, APTN, CBC, Citytv, CLT, CTV, Global, SCN, Vision TV and in several international broadcast markets including the US, Hong Kong, Eastern & Western Europe and South Africa.

His drama producing credits include Blackstone (1 Hour Dramatic Pilot), Mixed Blessings (Cycles I, II & III), Cashing In (Season I), Hank Williams First Nation (Season I), Adventures of Artie the Ant (Animation), Rubberman (Feature) and Consequences (Short). His lifestyle credits include My Green House (Season 1), Cowboy Country (Seasons 1 - 4), Code Green Canada (Season 1), Young As You Look (Special), and Race and the River (Special).

Ron is a member of the Mˆ©tis Nation of Alberta, is a past board member of the Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association, and is a current member of the Aboriginal Filmmakers Program at the National Film Board, The Canadian Film and Television Producers Association, and the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. He has also served as a consultant with the Banff Television Festival, Telefilm Canada and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
